Frequently asked questions

What's the time commitment?

A single task for technical volunteers can take 1-6 hours, for writer/editors 1-3 hours, and for researchers 5-9 hours. We made sure to break down every tasks into achievable goals!
After assigning yourself a task, you have 2-3 weeks to complete it, but ideally you'd assign it to yourself when you're available.
Additionally, to be considered an active volunteer and reap the benefits of this experience, you need to at least complete one task every 3 months. We are very flexible so just let us know if you'd like some time off. 🙂

What's in it for me?

This is a volunteer role and we are a nonprofit without funding (yet). Though we do want to give back as that is what this entire mission/project is for. We'll provide mentorship, experience, training, connections, a community, and academic opportunities that might help you in your journey.
